This website

This site has no analytics, no ad trackers and no cookies, and it doesn't store anything in your browser. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Our email list

When you sign up, your email address goes to our email provider, Kit (Kit, Inc., USA), which stores it and sends our emails. We use it to send you the free downloads and, if you've agreed to it, our news: new channels and tips, about one email a week. We don't sell it or share it with anyone else.

Your sign-up also tells Kit which version of our form you saw: with the "Send me news too" box, ticked or not, or without it. That's how we know who gets news.

The box shows when your device's time zone is in Europe or another part of the EU, or when the page can't be sure where you are. With the box, you only get news if you tick it. Without it, the form says that signing up includes our news. The page checks the time zone in your browser. It isn't stored, and it isn't sent to us or to Kit.

We email you because you asked us to. Kit also records when you signed up and the IP address you used, as proof of that. Kit counts which of our emails are opened and which links are clicked. We keep your address until you ask us to delete it. If you only unsubscribe, Kit keeps it, marked as unsubscribed, and we stop emailing you.

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To switch news on or off without leaving the list, or to have your address deleted completely, email us. Kit's privacy policy

Kit and Cloudflare are in the USA, so your data may be handled outside your country.

Our plugins

Odd Static plugins don't connect to the internet and don't collect anything.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email and we'll do it within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live (in Australia, the OAIC).

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
